As part of the campaign, stray dogs will be vaccinated free of charge in accordance with approved veterinary rules and practices. Mohammed Saad, head of the General Veterinary Services Agency, stated that coordination will be established among relevant institutions to reach target areas and intensify preventive vaccination efforts. The campaign supports Egypt's national strategy to eradicate rabies by 2030.

As part of the campaign, citizens will be informed about safe interactions with dogs. The agency has requested that cases of suspected rabies or dog bites be reported to veterinary units, and that individuals bitten by a dog should seek treatment at the nearest healthcare facility. The campaign is conducted in accordance with the 2023 Law on the Possession of Dangerous Animals and Dogs and the 2025 Implementation Regulation.
